Quiet Invader wins Santa Anita feature for Baffert

ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) -Quiet Invader held off fast-closing Lions Story by a nose to win Thursday's $47,600 feature for 3-year-olds, giving Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert and jockey Martin Garcia their 16th win of the Santa Anita meeting.

Last weekend, Garcia earned the biggest victory of his career while guiding Misremembered to victory in the Santa Anita Handicap for Baffert. The next day, the duo scored with Sangaree in the Joe Hernandez Stakes.
