The final leg of the Triple Crown will be the Belmont Stakes on June 11th, and while we have no chance for a Triple Crown winner this year we can look forward to a rematch between Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom and Preakness winner Shackleford. A few other veterans of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness will be there, and it looks like there will be some new shooters joining the party as well.

Here is the latest list of top contenders for the Belmont Stakes, which has a maximum field size of 16, but keep checking back to see what’s going on as horses have been coming on and off the list a lot so far. Entries will be taken and post positions selected on June 8th and will be posted that afternoon as soon as they are available.

Be sure to click the link on each horse’s name to view full info, stats, and a photo where available. This is the current list of probable entries according to Belmont Park. A star (*) by the dosage indicates a dual qualifier.
