Breeders Cup Challenge Schedule USA & Canada

Breeders Cup Challenge “win and you’re in” for 2011 has already begun with Tizway winning the Metropolitan Mile (Met Mile) on May 30^th at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York. Tizway is on his way to the Breeders Cup November 4^th and 5^th at Churchill Downs and will be running in the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile after his “win and you’re in” qualification for the Met Mile.

Since it is hard enough to follow the 2yo and 3yo schedule for the United States and Canada tracks I thought I would share a Breeder’s Cup Challenge schedule featuring only the North American races. It’s not that I don’t care about the other races, for me it’s simply on focusing on a manageable group of horses, races and tracks and tracks.

The Breeder’s Cup makes its second consecutive appearance at Churchill Downs after being at Santa Anita Park for 2008 and 2009. I personally think that both tracks do a great job, as do many tracks across the country and the only concern will be the live television coverage; which if you just watched the Triple Crown was terrible! We want to see more than one race televised LIVE for events as big as the Triple Crown and Breeders Cup; hopefully the network big wigs will figure this out one day on the golf course or getting their massages because they sure aren’t working!

I will be following all of the Breeders Cup Challenge races across the United States and Canada through the Breeders Cup on November 4^th and 5^th and below is the complete list of races to follow.
