Jack’s Top 20 Kentucky Derby Contenders
Kentucky Derby Contenders for Jack’s Top 20 as of March 28th. The 137th Kentucky Derby is held at Churchill Downs on May 7th, televised on NBC and sponsored by Yum! Brands who bring you The Greatest Two Minutes In Sports as the three year old horses run for the roses.
The Kentucky Derby Contenders list has been shaken up this week due to poor performances, great upsets as a result of vastly improved horses and unfortunately even the rotten luck of Mucho Macho Man who threw a shoe coming out of the gate in his Kentucky Derby prep race Saturday in the Louisiana Derby. My faith in Mucho Macho Man hasn’t changed but his string of bad luck is making me nervous!
Of the Kentucky Derby Contenders my number one ranked horse Uncle Mo is training in Florida at the Palm Meadows training facility in Florida along with Soldat and Stay Thirsty. Uncle Mo is expected to enter the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct for his final Kentucky Derby prep race before shipping to Churchill Downs for the Derby and his run for the roses.
