Kentucky Derby contenders for Jack’s Top 20 as of April 4^th. The 137th Kentucky Derby is held at Churchill Downs on May 7^th, televised on NBC and sponsored by Yum! Brands for the $2 Million purse. My Kentucky Derby contenders will help you prepare for The Greatest Two Minutes In Sports as the three year old horses run for the roses.

Kentucky Derby contenders list is ranking of my favorites to potentially win the Kentucky Derby. Once we get closer to the Kentucky Derby I will adjust the Kentucky Derby contenders ranking to account for horses that have enough graded earnings to be qualify for entry but right now there are simply too many races left in the Kentucky Derby Prep schedule to begin a bias towards graded earnings.
