November 10, 1969  Dover Downs in Delaware opens.

November 11, 1884  Maud S. trots a world record 2:09-1/4 at
Lexington.

November 11, 1994  Camourous sets the world record for female
pacers on a five-eighths track by winning in 1:52 at the Meadows
near Pittsburgh.

November 12, 1994  Village Jiffy wins the William Haughton
Memorial in 1:54.2 at Yonkers Raceway in New York.

November 13, 1987  Mack Lobell sets the world record for
trotting on a five-eighths track by winning the Breeders Crown
in 1:54.1 at Pompano Park in Florida.

November 14, 1998  Badlands Hanover sets the world record for
2-year-old pacers by winning the Breeders Crown in 1:50 at
Colonial Downs in Virginia.

November 15, 1987  Gentle Stroke sets the world record for
older gelding trotters on a five-eighths track by winning in
1:56.3 at Pompano Park.

November 16, 1996  Riyadh sets the world record for pacing on a
five-eighths track by winning in 1:49.1 at Dover Downs in
Delaware.

November 16, 2001  Stephane Bouchard wins nine races at Yonkers
Raceway.
