Romantic Wish wins Del Mar feature

DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) – Romantic Wish beat Maker Or Breaker by a head Wednesday in the $71,000 feature for older fillies and mares at Del Mar.

Ridden by Garrett Gomez, Romantic Wish ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:44 and paid $9.20, $3.20 and $2.20 for her third victory in 19 career starts. She finished second in her three previous races.

Maker Or Breaker returned $2.80 and $2.20, and Jaredella paid $4 to show.
