Takter inducted into Harness Racing Hall

GOSHEN, N.Y. (AP) – Trainer Jimmy Takter was inducted into the Harness Racing Hall of Fame on Sunday night along with horses Rocknroll Hanover, Rainbow Blue and Arterra.

Takter, a native of Sweden who is now a U.S. citizen, has now trained the winners of $62 million, including two Hambletonian winners and two Horse of the Year winners. He’s a three-time Trainer of the Year.
