COMMENTS: After hitting the board in two juvenile starts while under the care of Dominick Schettino, this colt is unbeaten in three dominating efforts this year for the Pletcher barn.

His final Kentucky Derby prep was a five-length romp in the Grade 1 Expressbet Florida Derby on April 1 at Gulfstream Park, a race in which he produced his career best 97 Beyer Speed Figure. His sire, Bodemeister, captured Oaklawn Park’s Grade 1 Arkansas Derby in 2012 before running second behind I’ll Have Another in each of the first two legs of the Triple Crown.

He is a half-brother to multiple graded stakes heroine Hot Dixie Chick. Always Dreaming will stay with Pletcher’s Florida string at Palm Beach Downs before shipping to Churchill Downs in mid-April.
